These dudes go hard.

This makes me wanna dust off the old Huffy and try some new tricks lol.

Twitter, or not?

There has been alot of fuss about this new social medium called Twitter. Twitter is hard to explain at times but my simplest explanation is that "its a facebook status without facebook." What i mean is that Twitter is something that you can easily access and update. People simply use it to let the world know what they are doing or how they are feeling at that particular moment. For instance: if i was a famous book writer and had a book signing in San Diego i would simply update my Twitter saying, "I have a book signing at 2 today at Borders in San Diego, come show some love." Or i could say that i have a red eye flight to New York in ten minutes. Is it creepy? i would have to disagree because the only people that can see your Twitter updates are the people who "Follow" you. Following you means that they have subscribed to your twitter updates. At the moment i do have a Twitter account and a username but i dont use it because i dont have a smart phone at the moment and i dont want to sign on to Twitter everytime i want to update it. Its entertaining to me because alot of famous entertainers are on it and it is interesting to see what they update their Twitters with. So for now i keep my distance but i have a feeling that Twitter will start to take off and more and more people will join the hype.

Whats on the I-pod

The 13+ hours of bus ride this weekend called for some heavy I-pod usage. What i found myself listening to alot is the new mixtape by Mike Posner called "A matter of time." He is from a suburb of Detroit and is also a producer. I recognized him from Big Seans mixtape who is also a Detroit rapper that is signed with Kanye West. Mike is a singer but when you listen to his music it doesnt sound R&b at all. Its some quality listening with a smooth feel to it. Its not full of swag or explicit content so its easy on the ears. If you are looking for something fresh to bump on th I-pod feel free to check him out. Listen link.

Back in my bag.

Over the weekend from Friday to Sunday night i went to the western part of South Dakota on the MAD (make a difference) tour. Every spring, the football team usually goes to Sioux Falls to scrimmage, put on a childrens clinic and visit several hospitals. This year we went to the other side of the state. The bus ride was 6.5 hours..ugh..we stayed on the Army Reserve base in barracks. They weren't as bad as i thought they were gonna be. We scrimmaged on a damp natural grass field early in the morning and once we were done with that we put kids through drills and such...fun time. We went to Mt. Rushmore and Wall Drug on the way back. I thought the presidents would be bigger but o' well. Wall drug was really confusing. I didnt know the concept or purpose behind all of the hype?? Overall it was a legit trip if you take away the lack of meals and free time. Now its back to school and back to makin videos and bloggin.

Smokey back at it.

Lol poor TV1. I can respect their concept by wanting to be the "Legit" black entertainment channel in stead of BET. BET is ridiculous. I only used to watch it because of the music videos but now they are weak and i can just go on the Internet and check them out. 106 and Park is weak. They took Rap City off with big tigger. So its pretty much pointless. And plus they dont even have BET out here in South Dakota. Ha. Respect.

Support your troops, even if you dont support the war.

lol they all have the same digital camera. Respect the Digi.
